After a year and a half of intense looking, we were very happy to finally find a place to call home. It was a brand new home that had been empty for a few years. It was bank owned and they were anxious to get rid of it so it was a very good deal. We had talked to the builders a year before and they told us that they were willing to build us a house at cost. So we thought of building a home. We would have picked their smallest house plan and with no extra bonuses. However the house we ended up buying was cheaper then the what we would have built at the time, it is one of their bigger models and it has many of the perks we would have gone without. I guess being patient turned out to be a good thing. It has three bedrooms upstairs. We painted one yellow which right now is the play room and the other one is purple which is Kaitlyn and Madison's room. We also have an unfinished basement which is currently housing Curtis' office. When Curtis isn't working he is working on the basement.
